Riggs High Class of '63
Forney Mattick, Bonnie (2026)

Since graduating from Riggs High School in Pierre, I’ve had a wide and varied career path. After graduation, I studied ballet and dance in New York City for almost 1 year, then reality set in ….I needed to go to college. I attended the University of SD, and transferred to the University of Minnesota, where I graduated in 1969, with a degree in Education. I followed up by receiving a scholarship at Arizona State University and obtained a M.A.Ed in Adult Education, which led me to many years in corporate training. I designed and developed training programs and facilitated training classes. including performance improvement consulting and facilitating difficult meetings. While my husband was working for a Department of Energy contractor in Nevada, I had the opportunity to attend the University of Nevada, where I received an MBA in marketing and finance. This parlayed my experience into a leadership position in corporate training within the Department of Energy. I enjoyed this work a great deal and found an avenue to do professional speaking, by presenting training at national conferences and conventions.
Having been widowed at age 53, I was fortunate to have the corporate experience and I established a consulting and training business, under the registered name “Unforgettable Outcomes, LLC”. I wrote two books (not on the NY Times best seller list): (1) “Kick up the Bottom Line – 66 Tips for Exceptional Employee Performance” and (2) “SMEs: Your Secret Training Weapon”. I served on the Board of Directors for the Arizona chapter of the National Speakers Association, and was a long-time member of the National Speakers Association as well as Meeting Professionals Association.
In 2018 I sold the Unforgettable Outcomes, LLC business and now focus on working with meeting planners and event service companies in facilitating the events in a variety of areas: facilitating executive board retreats, strategic planning meetings and advisory board meetings in the pharmaceutical industry. I am blessed with reasonably good health and I plan to work as long as I can. I have no children but I’m fortunate to have several nieces and nephews with whom I’m closely connected.
My hobbies are watercolor painting, horseback riding, hiking and playing golf. I enjoy being in the desert of Arizona, having a warm climate to enjoy many activities year around.
